Sequence
July, 2005
We wait and wait
for what is to happen.
Hoping, wondering,
about the mysteries
of life.
What will come tomorrow?
What will come today?

And then we look
back into the past;
happy memories,
fun times,
and just the way of living before.
Why didn’t we appreciate them?
Why didn’t we realize
how important they were?
Wishing to go back,
cherishing those moments.

And we stumble through life this way,
waiting for what’s ahead,
and dwelling in the past,
but never learning
from this repetitive cycle.
